Redstoned:
Like Punk’d - as in “You’ve been Redstoned”. Being Redstoned is being the receiver of wisdom, ranting, humour and observations by Martyn Redstone.

Hi, I’m Martyn Redstone and I’m the owner/administrator/geek behind Redstoned.co.uk. I’m currently working for a large recruitment firm and I manage the Out-of-Hours customer service team as well as provide project management and operations support for the whole division.

I grew up in Essex, in the town of Southend-on-Sea and moved to the Manchester area when I was 14.

I enjoy a lot of outdoorsie type activities like hiking, cycling and mountaineering. Other activities that I enjoy doing are reading, watching movies and socialising as well as a good debate/argument. I also enjoy photography when I get the chance. Some of my pictures can be seen at my Flickr page.

I left school originally at the age of 16 and completed an apprenticeship in telecommunications engineering with Orange PCS. I stayed with orange for another year before starting University, where I gained a BSc (Hons) in Computing.
